Paper Trees

Here is my attempt at Paper Trees. I cannot remember where I first saw these. I thought they were fun to do. The topiary was a little bit of a pain in the toosh but the Christmas Trees were pretty easy.

To make the topiary I used the 5 petal flower punch to punch out two different designs of patterned paper and a smaller punch (non-stampin up) for the center flower. I used Holiday Treasures paper. The hardest part was keeping the petals from overlapping each other. I stained a wooden dowel with Chocolate chip, painted the pot and then used chocolate chip on a sponge to wipe on the green pot for an aging effect.

For the trees I used retired Wintergreen paper. I cut the paper into strips and then cut them in half. This made a 1" x 6" strip. I started at the bottom and just pinned each strip in a circle around the bottom and topped it off with ribbon. Here is another version I did with Holiday Treasures paper.

Hope you have an awesome day!!!
I just love these purses. I cased this card from a friend Lorri Heiling in my we stamp group. She made this the door prize and everyone who didn't win was soooo jealous. You can see her version here. I used Bella Rose paper and Inspired by Nature stamp set. I used watercolor paper and spritzed the stamp after I colored it with my stampin up markers before adding it to the paper. It gave it a watercolor finish.

I cased this card from Nancy Riley (my favorite stampin person) here. She always has awesome ideas. I used the ski slope paper. Also a favorite of mine. I wish the picture wasn't so blurry. Still trying to figure out how to do good pictures. The stamp set is Season of joy.

My daughter Makenna and I made 10 of these Bags in a Box for all of her teachers. She works in the office as and aide every day so we made each of the ladies one also. They just love her in there.
Here are close ups of 2 of the bags, we filled each one with chocolate. Who can say no to that?
She has one male teacher so he gets the bag that says to you from me. We used the square scallop punch to punch it out then punched 2 chocolate chip square scallops behind it. I just love the autumn vine paper. We used it for all of the bags.

All of the female teachers got a flower. We made it by using the 5 petal flower punch to punch 3 flowers and put them together with a diamond in the center.

You can find many adorable Bags in a Box here
and the tutorial here

( I sure hope I did that right)

Have a Happy Day!!!

I have finally started a blog. I even figured it out on my own. Hopefully soon I will have some things I have done lately posted. I am excited to start showing some of the things I have done in the recent past. Hopefully figuring all of the posting rules will be easy to do. Ha, ha.
